Lost every Optima and K5 key?
Every key gone is still a curbside job on this car. A push-button Optima or K5 gets a new fob added to its immobilizer and the emergency key cut: $239 for the fob and $60 for the lost-key work, $299 in all. A turn-key LX without an immobilizer needs only a blade cut by code with its remote paired, $229.
Before anything is cut, we confirm ownership from your papers and a photo ID. With the same $60 added, a 2001 to 2010 chip key comes to $189 and a side-milled key to $209. You hear the full price on the call, with the drive already counted.
Afterward we tidy up the car's key list where it has one: a push-button Optima or K5 forgets the lost fob, which we remove from its memory free of charge. A turn-key LX built without an immobilizer keeps no list, so the old blade still turns it, and the way to retire it is a new ignition cylinder, which we price on the same call.
