Each job is quoted on the phone before the van rolls, and that figure already holds the drive, the cutting and the programming. You pay, by card or cash, once you have started the car with the new key and tried the buttons.

What is on the van
Key stock for the common makes: chip keys, remote head keys and smart fobs for the cars that fill local driveways. A code cutter that cuts a blade from the key code, including the laser-cut blades hardware stores turn away. A programming tool that talks to the immobilizer through the diagnostic port under the dash.
A jump pack, because programming needs steady power and a tired battery can interrupt it halfway.
How a job is priced
You get one number on the phone before we leave, set by the key type, the make and the year. It covers the drive to any part of the county, cutting, programming and the warranty. If every key is gone, we add $60 for pulling the key code from the VIN and programming the immobilizer from scratch, and you hear that before we drive.
There is no trip fee and no after-hours rate inside our open hours. Payment waits until the key works, and card or cash are both fine. Our figures sit beside typical dealer figures on the pricing page, so you can see the gap before you call.
What we keep at dealer standard
OEM or OEM-grade keys with the same chip type the car was built with. The same programming procedure the dealer's technician follows. A one-year warranty on every key we make, covering the key, the remote and the programming. Licensed and insured.
Some jobs belong at the dealer, and you hear which on the first call: most Mercedes-Benz models from about 2014 on, and some 2019 and later BMW models. A key with no chip in it also runs about the same either way, and we say that too.
