Lost every Compass key?
When every Compass key is gone, we check ownership (a title or registration that matches your driver's license), cut the blade from the VIN's code and program new keys where the car sits. On a first-generation Compass that usually means reading the security PIN and teaching the chip in a new remote key; a 2017 and newer Compass also has its fob or flip key paired to the remote system.
For the newer Compass we check how its security code is handled before driving over, because the Fiat-derived electronics do not always follow the older Chrysler routine, and most 2018 and newer cars add a gateway in front of the port. Both steps are inside the price. With zero keys left, the spare price goes up $60, and we erase the one that went missing.
