Lost every 1500 key?
Every key gone on a 1500 is a curbside job. After your title or registration is checked against a photo ID, the blade or emergency blade is cut by the VIN key code, we read the truck's security PIN (most Rams give it up to our programmer), and then the replacement is programmed through the OBD port.
On a fobik truck, the dash slot's ignition node must accept the replacement fob as well.
On most 2019 and newer trucks, plan on the extra gateway step, which is part of the quote, not an add-on. Rebuilding access from nothing puts $60 on top of whichever key your truck takes. Before we pack up, the key you lost is deleted from the truck, so a fob dropped at a job site will not start it.
